Zaha Hadid Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid is a female architect. He was the first and first Muslim woman to win the Pritzker Architectural Award in 2004. He was a female architect who attracted the world's attention with a design that resembled broken glass. She was also the first woman to receive the Royal Gold Medal award by the Royal Institute of British Architects. Zaha Hadid was born on October 31, 1950 in Baghdad, Iraq. His father, Muhammad al-Hajj Husayn Hadid, was a wealthy industrialist from Mosul, and one of the founders of the National Democratic Party in Iraq. His mother, Wajiha al-Sabunji, was an artist from Mosul. Zaha Hadid entered boarding school in England and Switzerland.
